Lux Wix Candle Care & Safety Guide

To ensure the best experience and the longest life for your Lux Wix candle, please follow these essential safety guidelines.

The Golden Rules

  • Trim the Wick: Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before every single burn. This prevents soot and keeps the flame controlled.

  • The First Burn: Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar every time to prevent "tunneling."

  • Time Limit: Do not burn your candle for more than four (4) hours at a time.

  • The Finish Line: Discontinue use when only 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.

Safety First

  • Stay Within Sight: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish candles before leaving the room or going to sleep.

  • Keep Away: Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

  • Clearance: Place candles on a level, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, fans, and flammable items (furniture, curtains, books, etc.).

  • Spacing: If lighting multiple candles, keep them at least 3 inches apart.

  • Cleanliness: Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and debris at all times.
